Send and receive text messages using your favourite email service, like Outlook or Gmail, to get the best of both worlds!
It works both ways! Your customers can text you back and you’ll receive replies as an e-mail instead. You can then reply to the e-mail and it’ll get sent as an SMS text message. You can register multiple email addresses and domains to send from, too.
Keep track of the conversations between you and your customers. You’ll be able to look back on what was discussed in your email inbox, as well as in your Share We account. Log in to see your message history, delivery reports, open rates, and more.
Choose when to cut off your message to avoid using too many SMS credits. You can also omit subject lines and add {end} tags to exclude email signatures. This can make sending bulk SMS more cost-effective since a standard SMS credit is 160 characters.
Many software packages with SMS capabilities can use the email-to-sms gateway to send messages. Just set up an account and add in the email address you’ll be sending from. Learn about our SMS API keys here.
Nope, you only pay for the text messages you send. All you’ll need to do is create an account and purchase your SMS credits. You won’t need to pay extra to configure email to SMS or to use additional email addresses to send messages.
You can send SMS messages to an individual or to a large contact group. Create lists or groups in Gmail or Outlook by adding in mobile numbers followed by @e2s.smsbroadcast.com.au, or learn more about creating a single email for a full group of contacts in our portal here.
A standard SMS is 160 characters. You can limit how many credits you use when sending an email so that a text message gets cut off and you won’t get charged for extra credits.
Share We’s gateway itself is secure. We do, however, recommend making sure whichever email client you use has SPF and DKIM set up. Doing so protects your email account which in turn protects your Share We credits.
You can add as many email addresses as you wish. Log in to our website to add email addresses, email groups, or domains that are allowed to send online SMS. Learn how this works here.
